We all knew Ryan Shaw would be performing at Night Market. WXPN's role in selecting the musical entertainment helped land him.

Shaw will go on stage at 7:25 p.m. He'll be preceded and followed by other notable musical acts.

Ginger Coyle, who is from Philadelphia, will play at 6:15, and the Reckless Amateurs (a band from the Northwest part of the city that specializes in Americana) will go on stage from 9 to 10 p.m.

The event itself, meanwhile, will last from 6 to 10:30 p.m on Germantown Avenue between Carpenter Lane and Mt. Airy Avenue. There will be parking available, and train stations on the Chestnut Hill East and West lines are nearby (Carpenter Station and Mt. Airy Station).

There will be more than 50 food and drink vendors, including a few from Mt. Airy.

You can buy a pass for $35 that gives you seating in the Lovett library branch park along with unlimited beer and wine.
