Take a Seat: Plastic Chairs Stolen in Mt. Airy
The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.
The following information is provided by the 14th district of the Philadelphia Police Department:
Stolen Plastic Chairs: an unknown person stole three plastic chairs from the front yard of a house on the 1300 block of E Rittenhouse Street sometime between 6 p.m. and midnight on Sept. 15.
Stolen Tire: An unknown person removed the right rear tire from a 2010 Buick Lcrosse on the 6300 block of Homer Street on Sept. 16.
Stolen Phone: an unknown person allegedly broke into a car parked on the 500 block of W Sedgwick Street and stole a cell phone on Sept. 16.
Stolen Bank Card: A woman reported that her boyfriend stole her bank card from her purse on Sept. 14 and never returned it. Police advised the woman to change her bank information.
Stolen Laptop: A laptop and watch were reported stolen from a house on the 300 block of High Street on Sept. 15.
Glasses, Cell Phone Stolen: An unknown person reported broke into a car parked on the 40 block of Gowan Avenue and stole a cell phone, a pair of eye glasses and a GPS on Sept. 13.
Groceries Stolen: A 40-year-old man was arrested for stealing a bag of groceries from the Rite Aid on Washington Lane.

I am starting to agree with some other commenters here. I don't remember Zach making the crime report the line every single day. If you are like me and the Patch is your home page and you get the e-mail every day, it's really too much. Nate, many of us get this from our town watch list serves. I'm sorry the people had their chairs stolen but with everything that goes on in Mt. Airy, that ain't news.

FYI - High St., Homer St., E. Rittenhouse St. and the Rite Aid on Washington Lane are all in Germantown, not Mt. Airy.

There's no need to draw demarcation lines - the news of our close neighbors is relevant to us, too. I don't even think there is a Germantown Patch, right?
