Sovereign Bank Robbed Again
According to reports the robbery occurred Monday at about 11:15 a.m.
Newsworks reports that Sovereign Bank, 8623 Germantown Avenue, was robbed Monday morning.
According to the report, a man used a demand note to rob the bank, and escaped with about $4,000 in cash.
"Officer Anthony Buchanico described the perpetrator as a male dressed in full Muslim garb, wearing a long maroon gown and covered face," the Newsworks article stated.
The same bank branch has been the subject of one successful and one attempted robbery since May of last year. For more on these prior robberies:
