'Princess Bride' Postponed Again
Moonlight Movies will continue with 'The Sandlot' next week.
Mt. Airy USA just can't seem to catch a break with "The Princess Bride."
The movie, which was scheduled to be shown in the first installment of "Moonlight Movies" on July 1, was canceled for rain.
It was supposed to be made up Friday. But rain prompted the cancellation of that showing too.
"Moonlight Movies in Mt. Airy will continue next Friday with The Sandlot. Hope to see you there!" a note from Mt. Airy USA read.
The Sandlot will be shown at 8 p.m. then. Mt. Airy USA hasn't yet announced whether there will be a makeup date for the movie that keeps getting rained out.
The series is held on the Lovett library branch lawn.
