I find it astounding that there are 20+ comments for the Rita's 'debate,' yet nobody comments on these increasingly distubring crimes the past few weeks - home invasion, robberies with beatings, increased burglaries...I think some of my fellow CH-ers are focusing on the trees while getting lost in the forest - you think Rita's is a threat to our neighborhood's livability and ultimate value? I think a growing fear of being a victim of a violent and/or property crime is far worse for CH's longer-term prospects. Stay vigilant, keep an eye out for your neighbors, and let's stay on the police to actually show a presence in our neighborhood...its a much better use of time and energy than debating water ice.
