Police Blotter: Dunkin' Donuts Robbed
The following information was supplied by the Philadelphia Police Department. The arrests or charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.
Here's 14th Police District news from the past week or two. All of the following allegations have been documented according to information provided by police:
Dunkin' Donuts robbed: on July 16, two female Dunkin Doughnuts employees were followed into the store, located at 8113 Stenton Avenue, by two black males dressed in black and ski masks, while weilding crowbars. One of them demanded money. The employees gave them $1,000 from the office.
Robbery with no weapons: a person was jumped at the corner of Germantown Avenue and Sedgwick Street on July 21. The person states they were pushed down, kicked and robbed of $20 by three black males. The police report states the the victim's mother said this is the second time this has happened and does not believe the victim.
Stolen iPhone: a woman was approached on July 16 by three juveniles trying to talk to her while walking on Germantown Avenue. They left, but one came back and snatched her black iPhone 4-S from her hand at the corner of Germantown Avenue and Sedgwick Street.
Stolen batteries and lightbulbs: an estimated $9 worth of battery packs and light bulbs were taken from solar-powered exterior lights on the 6500 block of Musgrave Street on July 21.
