One Chestnut Hill child got to cross something off her bucket list."
From the heartwarming / heartwrenching department: Philadelphia Phillie Domonic Brown stopped in to visit a Chestnut Hill resident on hospice care recently.
The text of the release from Keystone Care is below:
Domonic Brown of the Philadelphia Phillies recently visited Dolores, a Keystone Hospice patient, at her Chestnut Hill home.
Meeting Domonic, her favorite member of the Phillies, was the last unchecked box on Dolores' bucket list! Domonic brought a Phillies gift bag for Dolores, complete with a Philly Phanatic doll, a signed Domonic Brown shirt and an an autographed baseball and hat.
Dolores asked Domonic questions about games this season, his college years and he told stories about minor league games and his love for the Philadelphia Phillies. Dolores, Domonic and her family even sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” together.
Many thanks to Domonic Brown and the Philadelphia Phillies for making Dolores’ wish come true and for providing a memorable day for her and her entire family!
