Open on Thanksgiving: Restaurants, Pharmacies and Other Entities
A list of places you can go.
Here's a list of various businesses in Mt. Airy that will be open on Thanksgiving Day (for a list of what's closed, click here):
- Acme Supermarket (7010 Germantown Ave.) will be open regular hours.
- Trolley Car Diner (7619 Germantown Ave.) will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Tiffin (7105 Emlen St.) is planning on being open for its regular hours—until 9:30 p.m. The restaurant may be getting a new menu before then, so
- SEPTA Chestnut Hill East trains will run on a weekend schedule, while Chestnut Hill West trains will run on a Sunday schedule. Passengers will, in addition, be allowed to purchase Independence Passes that can be used in an unlimited fashion from Thursday through Sunday (they normally can only be used for unlimited travel for one day).
- CVS Pharmacy (7065 Lincoln Dr.) will be open regular hours, but the pharmacy inside the store will close at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
- Family Dollar (6555 Greene St.) will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Rite-Aid locations (8235 Stenton Ave., 1315 E. Washington Lane) will both be open for modified hours. They both will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the pharmacy at the Stenton Avenue location will close at 2 p.m., while the pharmacy at Washington Lane will shutter at 3 p.m.
- Wawa (7236 Germantown Ave.) will be open its usual 24 hours.
- FitLife Fitness & Aquatics (7140 Germantown Ave.) will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Thanksgiving Day.
