NPR Interview: Mt. Airy's Noah 'Xaphoon Jones' Beresin of Chiddy Bang

Beresin was featured on NPR this week.

Mt. Airy native Noah Beresin, who is known as Xaphoon Jones in the rap group Chiddy Bang, was interviewed on NPR's "Here and Now" show this week. The episode aired in Philadelphia Wednesday.

You can listen to the interview here. In the interview, Beresin, along with bandmate Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege, talked about some of their music and their plans to tour this summer with Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa.

The two sample from bands like MGMT and Radiohead, and a full-length record, called "Breakfast," just came out.

The two met at Drexel University and have been putting out music since 2009.

Beresin mentioned his mother, Anna Beresin, in the interview, saying that her job as an anthropologist has contributed to his appreciation for folklore. We published a Q&A with Anna Beresin here.
