Mt. Airy Resident Named 'Top Phillies Prospect'

People who know about these kinds of things think Jesse Biddle could be the future for the Phillies.

When we last checked in on Mt. Airy resident and Phillies baseball prospect Jesse Biddle, he was playing for the single-A Lakewood BlueClaws in New Jersey.

Things have only improved for the  21-year-old Germantown Friends graduate.

"Baseball America, which is, you might be surprised to find out, a magazine that  exclusively covers baseball, named Biddle the organization's top prospect."

You can read about Biddle's reaction to this pretty-cool news on Philly.com. He seems to be taking an "aw, shucks" approach to the honor, saying that he wants to keep "working as hard as I can."

You can check out Biddle's profile on Baseball America here.
