Mt. Airy BID to Hold Open House Tuesday Night
Donations for various drives will be accepted.

The Mt. Airy Business Improvement District (BID) is holding an open house at its Upsala headquarters Tuesday night.
The party, which is at 6430 Germantown Ave., will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.
Various donations will be accepted at the party. Trolley Car Diner and Valley Green Bank are holding coat and book drives, respectively, and those items will be collected at the party.
Canned goods will also be collected. Those, along with personal hygiene items, diapers and and cleaning products, will be donated to the First Presbyterian Church of Germantown.
The BID recently worked to install holiday decorations along Germantown Avenue. The decorations are on baskets there and on poles on the 6300 block of Germantown Avenue (baskets have not yet been installed there).
