A summer movie series will come to Mt. Airy for the second time in two years.
The series, called "Moonlight Movies in Mt. Airy," kicks off June 22. And just like last year, Mt. Airy USA, which is running the series, is asking residents to vote for which movies they'd like to see.
You can cast your votes here. Options include 2001: A Space Odyssey, Friday Night Lights, Rent, Karate Kid and Up.
There were a few rainouts during last year's series, which took place on the Lovett library branch lawn. It will happen there this year too.
The series is also being sponsored by the Trolley Car Diner. It will last from June through August.

If 2001 gets picked, that's going to make for one long outdoor movie.
