A man was shot multiple times and killed on East Hortter Street late Sunday night.

Police said the man was found sitting behind the wheel of a black Nissan Maxima on the street's unit block after having suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his head and face.

He was breathing but unresponsive when police reached him around 10:30 p.m. He was then taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m.

Police said Sunday they hadn't yet made an arrest in the matter.
