This holiday season, enlist the help of one of these convenient, and delicious, Chestnut Hill restaurants to lighten your cooking load.
Weavers Way doesn't offer a ready-made Christmas dinner per se, but it's location does offer a host of holiday favorites for delivery (see delivery order form here). And for those entertaining friends and relatives this holiday season, the co-op also has a robust new catering menu that features, among other mouth watering dishes, tilapia à la meunière for 7.50 per platter, chicken picatta for $6.50, as well as more traditional holiday fare like whole turkey breast with cranberry walnut stuffing. According to deli manager Gloria Murray, there is a strong chance Pathmark wil bring back the $49.99 pre-cooked turkeys it stocked during Thanksgiving. Call 610-247-2800 for details.
Valley Green Inn: The Inn will host a Christmas Eve lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. where all regular menu options are available, then a dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with special options including duck two ways and pan seared monkfish. On Christmas day, Valley Green will have a multi-course brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will feature regular menu options, plus lobster fratatta and pan-seared chicken breast, diver-sea scallops, shrimp and crab springrolls and smoked salmon bagels.
