The School District of Philadelphia has canceled all classes Friday, and other schools have done the same as the area continues to recover from a major snowstorm Wednesday.
The storm begain in earnest Wednesday morning, and many side streets are still covered in snow. Because of that, the school district made the decision to close.
Below is a list of schools and other organizations whose Friday schedules have been affected by the latest snowstorm, according to KYW. We'll continue to monitor for updates as they become available.
- Blair Christian Academy: Closed
- Chestnut Hill Academy: Closed
- Crefeld School: Closed
- Germantown Friends School: Closed
- Germantown Jewish Centre Early Childhood Program: Closed
- Greene Street Friends: Closed
- Holy Cross School: Closed; all schools affiliated with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are closed.
- Preschool Plus: Closed
- School District of Philadelphia (includes AMY Northwest Middle School, Anna B. Day School, Anna L. Lingelbach School, Charles W. Henry School, Eleanor C. Emlen School, Henry H. Houston School, Germantown High School, Martin Luther King High School and Parkway Northwest High School for Peace and Social Justice): Closed

- Waldorf School of Philadelphia: Closed
