What's Closed on Thanksgiving Day
A list of what's not open in Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill
Here's a list of various entities throughout the Northwest that will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Check back Wednesday morning for a list of what's open on Thanksgiving.
- Banks throughout the area—and across the country—will be closed.
- Post offices across the country will be closed. That includes the Mt. Airy post office on Germantown Avenue and the Chestnut Hill Post Office on Crittenden Street.
- All city governemnt and school district offices will be closed.
- Both Weavers Way locations (in Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill) will be closed.
- Both HighPoint Cafe locations in Mt. Airy will be closed. Infusion Cafe will be closed. The Chestnut Hill Coffee Company will be closed.
- Chestnut Hill College will be closed.
- Trash collection will be impacted. See how here.

Walk a Crooked Mile Books is closed on Thursday but open on Friday and Saturday, 10-6:30 as usual. We urge you to shop local, especially on Small Business Saturday.

Summit Children's Program is closed on Thursday and Friday. My firm, McKee Law Office, is closed on Thursday and Friday. I am willing to bet money that the Trolley Dinner will be open on both days.
