Briefcase Taken in Wissahickon Incident

A car was broken into.

 

A person's briefcase was taken from his car while it was parked in the Wissahickon Valley Park.

Police said the car on the 1000 block of Kitchens Lane was broken into on Saturday and said a computer and a wallet with credit cards was stolen.

The items were worth $1,500, according to police.

The car was broken through the front left door window.

This seems to be the trend...if you park by/in the park, don't leave *anything* in view or even *in* the body of your car...ie wallet in glove compartment or under front seat. Lock it in trunk.
