Bredenbeck Mural Opens Saturday
Chestnut Hill's first mural will be dedicated on Nov. 10.
Never mind that residents could see the work being done from Germantown Avenue, the real unveiling of the mural at Bredenbeck's is happening Saturday.
Representatives from the city's Mural Arts program will be in Chestnut Hill on Saturday to dedicate the neighborhoods first mural.
The mural, named Wissahickon Crossing, was completely financed by business in Chestnut Hill and was painted by Ann Northrup.
According to a release from the Mural Arts program, the ceremony will include a 3 p.m. dedication and one-time guided trolley tour of the more than 20 Mural Arts Program murals in Mt. Airy and Germantown taking off from the Trolley Car Cafe in Mt. Airy at 10 a.m. on Nov. 24.
