About 40 food vendors will appear at Mt. Airy's Night Market on Aug. 16—more than double the amount that were at the market last year.
The Food Trust said in an email that there will be some newcomers among them, like Jyoti (which will soon open a Mt. Airy store at Germantown Avenue and Nippon Street), Trio Delight (which will offer Korean food; it already operates a brick and mortar store in Mt. Airy) and Kung Fu Hoagies.
None of those vendors have ever appeared at a Night Market.
There will also be Yards beer, Penn Woods Winery wine and Philadelphia Distilling cocktails.
The event will take place from 6 and 10:30 p.m. on Germantown Avenue between Carpenter Lane and Mt. Airy Avenue. The rain date is Aug. 24.
