Patch, can you please stop leading with the robberies? While I agree it is an important story, it is totally unecessary to have the police reports be the daily lead. How about leading with the positive and more representative story about EMAN's working to stop voter suppression? We don't need one more news outlet that promotes fear and anxiety.

Patch only presents an article headline. If you are not interested in following up to learn details, don't read the article. Those of use concerned with local crime patterns are definitely interested in the facts of what's happening in our neighborhoods, good or bad.

Another idea would be to talk to the police and give us some analysis as to why this is happening.

The fear and anxiety are real, and crime in the neighborhoods is everyone's problem, not just the police. It is difficult to be positive and believe something is more important after you have stood in the path of an escaping criminal who is potentially violent.

We used to live in this complex. I was here when this happened. I called the police and they arrived 30 minutes later, after 4 emergency calls. This could have easily been prevented.

I had approximately $20,000 of electronics and precious jewelry stolen from my apartment at Wood Norton on Tues. August 28th while I was at work. The property had totally inadequate security. The front door was pried open with ease and an interior door wasn't much more secure. Within the three weeks since this crime, there were several more break-ins and another burglary of similar items.. The property managers have not responded with adequate security measures. The police and detectives have done nothing! In fact, they didn't respond for 30 minutes while the most recent burglary was taking place. The initial crime has been compounded by this total lack of regard for personal safety and property!
