$10,000 in Copper Reported Stolen

The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

 

Over $10,000 in copper piping was stolen from Chestnut Hill on Sept. 18, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, police responded to two separate incidents of reported theft on the 18th: one the 8000 block of Germantown Avenue when a resident complained that their copper drain pipes had been stolen, and a second at 8000 block of Germantown Avenue when 10 copper drain pipes were reported stolen.

Police advise resident to be mindful of similar incidents.
