FLOURTOWN, PA---Bruce Glendinning, Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS® Sr. VP & Regional Manager, recently rappelled 21 stories above the streets of Philadelphia as part of Outward Bound Philadelphia’s Building Adventure 2012 campaign. Glendinning qualified for the thrill of rappelling down Penn Center Plaza by raising over $2,000 for Outward Bound Philadelphia, a program that uses educational courses in both wilderness and natural settings to inspire young leaders.

“Outward Bound is geared toward pushing kids to the limit and giving them an internal confidence that allows them to improve their lives and the lives of those around them,” adds Glendinning. “My siblings and I all participated in an Outward Bound program and it taught me that there are no boundaries or limits in life. Outward Bound had a profound influence on me when I was in high school. I am confident that their Philadelphia leadership program is having a positive influence on many inner city kids. Staying active in the organization allows me to give back and show other kids that they can accomplish anything they put their mind to.”

Glendinning’s fundraising efforts contributed to the over $150,000 the event raised for Outward Bound Philadelphia. Thanks to generous donations, Outward Bound Philadelphia awards up to $500,000 in scholarships to support over 3,000 students each year.
