Norwood-Fontbonne Academy 3rd Graders learn how plants take in water
How did that celery turn blue? Norwood-Fontbonne Academy 3rd graders observe a celery stalk during an experiment in Mr. Nick D’Orazio’s class. The students learned how a plant takes in water as their celery stalk slowly turned blue from the blue-dyed water. Experiments such as this are part NFA’s science curriculum where students are engaged in discussion and hands-on learning.
