Conshohocken Physical Therapy Using Newly Developed Instruments to Treat Injuries
The physical therapy practice is using the precision-engineered therapy tools, HawkGrips, to detect and treat soft tissue injuries in their patients.
HawkGrips are a surgical-grade, stainless steel instrument with a cross-hatched, textured gripping design to be used by the Physical Therapist during treatment. The Physical Therapist will glide the tool over the skin, which will allow them to feel any soft-tissue irregularities (scar tissue/adhesions) not possible through other modalities.
With the addition of these treatment tools, Conshohocken Physical Therapy patients are able to see an immediate result in improved flexibility and range of motion. As a result, patients are more quickly achieving positive results. Owner and senior Physical Therapist, Desirea Caucci, PT, DPT, OCS adds “We are commonly incorporating HawkGrips to address tendonitis and muscle restrictions in areas like the shoulder, elbow, knees and feet with great feedback from the patients. Patients see amazing results and they come in requesting it again and again.”
Conshohocken Physical Therapy(CPT) is a private practice that believes in changing their patient’s lives. They have been voted the “Best Physical Therapy Practice in Montgomery County, PA,” multiple times and named a “Best Practice” by PT Products Magazine (2012). Owner, Dr. Desirea D.
